3. Why you choose Soundside name for your band? Are there is a story behind the name?
Soundside is a local name of many of the business entities in our hometown, but we found it catchy b/c of the alliteration and b/c our sound is influenced by many genres.

Another catchy title, which incorporates our ideas and feelings towards our music. Loss for words best represents our current vibe, work in a rock format.

Like many of the other songs, My Bullet is a reflection of a love struggle, conflict of mind.

Rich and I(Dan) write the songs. At times, Rich writes lyrics and I try to put a song together, while other times i have a riff and we try to build a song around it and lyrics.

It's actually quite simple. Rich and I have a knack for writing music. We've come up with the framework for a song in as little as ten minutes. It's a gift.
8. You guys are from New York, how about the music scene in there ? Are there any locals bands or venues that have been especially supportive?
New York is a very tough music scene for us b/c our music is not considered mainstream. We exist in a market that thrives on hip-hop and hard rock. But we do well for ourselves.

Our genre- progressive rock / alt rock, our influences anywhere from 80s hair metal to reggae, to 90's grunge to powerpop and punk
